The Urasenke Tankokai Los Angeles Association performed a tea demonstration on October 10th at Ontario Library. Thirty-seven people from the Ontario community joined the demonstration of Misonodana to promote the Urasenke tradition and Japanese culture.

Teishu was Mme. Jennifer Kung, Hanto was Mr. Mark Umbriaco, and the Shokyaku was Mr. Cirilo Domine. Ms. Ann Abe served tea while Ms. Nancy Hamai was in the mizuya preparing for all the guests.

Narrator was Mr. Patrick Duffey and he explained the history of Urasenke as well as the cultural aspects involved with Chado. Tea and sweets were served to the guests.
